Tatsushi Iwamoto
Hi! Good morning everyone! How are you?
I work part-time in a supermarket called “Saeki”. Do you know this name? Maybe you don’t know, because I also have never seen it except in my hometown, Kunitachi. I get nine hundred yen an hour for my part-time work. I work 3 or 4 times a week. In supermarket, I do everything. Mainly I am a cashier, but I also carry merchandise and place it on shelves. Moreover I call and order. Coworkers are kind and friendly, so sometimes I talk with my coworkers when I am on duty.
The owner is a very good person. At first, I was surprised, because I thought most owners were selfish or strict and always thought about money. However, my owner is so kind and funny. He usually makes me happy!
If you come to Kunitachi, please buy something at my supermarket!

Hi Tatsushi,
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I have never heard of Saeki - is it a chain or a private store? The owner looks like a nice guy, so you must enjoy working there. It is a tough job - are you satisfied with the pay? How many hours do you work each shift? It is good to have a part time job so you have money to buy the things you want. I always had one or two part-time jobs during high school and university.
